Full disclosure: NOBODY in my house wanted to watch this show. I kept doing my normal Google-ing to find out what shows we needed to be watching, and like always, we had seen almost everyTHANG on all the lists….but Silo. EVERY.SINGLE.TIME… we would choose to watch something else over this show. But every single time, it kept making the list as a must-watch. Finally, when my husband asked me, “What do you want to watch, boss…we are out of shows,” I said…”I think we should try out that Silo show….everyone loves it.” The poor look of sadness that crossed his face. We both had such little faith in this show being any good that I immediately had to swear that if neither of us saw promise in it by the end of the first episode, I’d let him turn it off…..which is a huge NO-NO in this house. If we start watching something, I think it deserves me to at least finish the season. How can you truly condemn something if don’t even see it through?!
We LOVED this show. Like LOVED it, loved it. Like, was Google-ing “Silo Season 2 confirmed?” Everything about the show was a surprise. We loved the story, we loved the setting, we loved the people who they cast into the roles (which isn’t something we ever care about unless we just hate who is in the role because it’s ruining the show for us), annnnnd we loved how it ENDED which almost never happens anymore. There are so many good shows that we really enjoy that the last few episodes just go off the ducking rails and ruin the show. Not this one!!! This one, if you are really wanting to WATCH a show and not just scroll mindlessly, will keep your attention for every single second!
Verdict:
0- Scrolls!!! Kept my attention the entire time. I can’t wait to see Season 2. Definitely must watch TV!
