35 Minute Fall off the Bone Instant Pot Ribs

When I tell you that I thought these ribs would taste like a rubbery trash panda being cooked in the Instant Pot I MEAN it…I was more than concerned to try this. We almost never eat ribs however, on our last beach trip, we grabbed some smoked ribs at the local grocery store because they smelled SOOO GOOD, and ever since then we haven’t been able to stop talking about how delicious they were!! Buuuuuuuut I don’t have a smoker annnnd I ain’t got 4 -6 hours to wait around to eat some ribs due my severe procrastination. Also, The likelihood I’d burn the house down while trying to figure out how to smoke said ribs on my grill would be HIGH like my anxiety. But after we had those ribs we wanted more and so I bought some to grill and my husband suggested I make them in the IP instead. Against my better judgment I agreed and BEST 👏🏻 DECISION 👏🏻 EVER 👏🏻 (other than him of course). This is probably the easiest recipe you will ever make. And even if you are team smoked ribs only…don’t sleep on this if you are in a bind for time.

NOTES:

  • Do not NOT take the membrane off. I did not do this for YEARS and I feel like such a fool
  • If you soak your ribs in salt for more than 24 hours once you go to cook them rinse them off and soak in salt free water for 30 min
  • If you like your ribs EXTRA fall off the bone, just go up to 40 minutes on the IP. I have tried them at 35 and at 40 min and I thought 40 was actually a little too soft. Do with that what you will
